While researching material for this site I was amazed at the number of so called "make money fast" schemes. Full of exaggerated hype I knew I had to investigate these claims.Truth is that there is no overnight success. Like any business if you want to succeed it will require hard work and dedication. If you are willing to work hard for yourself the rewards can be amazing.

Home Business Resources, Information, and Opportunities (HBrio.com) started over 20 years ago when I started my first home based business. I was in High School and had quite a good record collection, mostly 45's (remember them?). A local music shop trusted this kid enough to rent him a sound system and with all of my savings a sound mixer was purchased and I was in business as a DJ. All jobs were word of month at first until I was able to afford a business line and a yellow page ad and from there the jobs or gigs as we called them increased to the point that I was able to put myself through University with the income.That first try at starting a home business is really the beginning of this web site. Some of the resources used then I still use today.

Much has changed since then. The Internet has changed everything. At one time a home based business such as my DJ business would market only to a local area. Now we all can market to the world. In the late 1980's I started to learn to program and create a few shareware programs. In those days in order for me to get others to find my shareware I had to connect with other Bulletin Board Systems (BBS) around the world. Each connect to the BBS require a long distance call. It was often very expensive, don't forget our modems were only 1200 baud then.Now when I create software I can place it on our web site and it can be accessed by anyone / anywhere / anytime.

HBrio.com was not created as a place for me to upload my software. Yes I will keep on making it available here but that is not the focus of this web site. This is a place about resources, information and opportunities. I have been through this Internet evolution in the home business area and have seen a lot of good and bad. If you have taken the time to read this far then I believe you are seriously looking for good information and opportunities. My goal is to help you find what you are looking for.
